This is my adventure on the longest intercity in Belgium, the Intercity Eupen-Oostende. This intercity covers a distance of approximately 250 km and reaches a top speed of 200 km per hours on HSL2.
my adventure starts in Eupen. Actually in Leuven because I had to get to Eupen first. I will travel with a composition of M7, I11 and I10 carriages pulled by a series 18 locomotive. The intercity departs every hour every day throughout the week.
Train waiting in Eupen
This intercity takes me from Eupen to Ostend via Verviers-Central, Liège-Guillemins, Leuven, Brussels-North, Brussels-Central, Brussels-Midi, Ghent and Bruges over a distance of 250km
The train goes through the misty hills of the Ardennes, faster than 200 km per hour on HSL2, straight through the big city of Brussels, over the fields of East and West Flanders all the way to Ostend by the sea.
